My 20+ year old original HVAC system was experiencing cost prohibitive repairs earlier this summer, just in time for record heat. After several inquiries, many unanswered, one no show and a ridiculous replacement quote from a competitor,  I was happy to find Angelo Chiodo! Jon was very knowledgeable and helpful in guiding my decision with no pressure. I ended up replacing both A/C and furnace with high efficiency Carrier products at a very fair price. Installation was trouble free and completed in about a half day. Installers Alex and Gary worked nonstop and were proficient in their skill level. Alex went over all features and answered all questions. An added bonus, Gary even protected my perennials which I was certain could not be spared given the location of my existing giant A/C unit that needed to be carted away. I was very appreciative. They did a proper job of cleaning up after all work was completed. Service after the sale was top notch and Jon checked in to be certain everything was in order. I couldn’t be happier!

We are first-time customers of Chiodo Heating and Air Conditioning, and our experience couldn't have been better. After getting a few estimates to replace our HVAC system, we called Chiodo for an estimate. Jon was at our house within two days.  He was polite, respectful, and professional.  Jon listened to our concerns and offered us solutions without being hard sell.  He even provided us with his personal cell number in the event we had any follow up questions or concerns.  Jon also invited us down to the shop where we met several of the staff, including the owner, Mr. Chiodo, who is on site and hands on.  They have an on-site fabrication department where they build custom ductwork when needed. This guy takes pride in his work.  We were able to get our new furnace, A/C and thermostat installed within three days.  The installers, Frankie and AJ arrived on time and they too where polite and respectful of us, and to our home.  They did a terrific job with the installation and paid attention to detail, which we appreciated.  They removed the old equipment, swept the floor and made certain we were satisfied prior to leaving.  The office staff also processed our paperwork in a timely fashion and provided us with the documentation we needed to file a National Grid rebate that we qualified for.  We are happy customers for a job well done!  Thanks team Chiodo, as we've already recommended you to others!

Alex and Paul, the installers, were very professional. They worked in a timely manner and answered all our questions. Alex even programmed our new thermostat. However, one week later, when I went to turn the furnace on, I could not remember what he told me. Even the manual didn’t help, so I called and Mega, the receptionist, said she would have a technician out the same afternoon. Jim came out and explained everything to us and reprogrammed the thermostat for us. Then he checked the new furnace to make sure everything was working properly. Needless to say we are very pleased with Chiodo’s service and response time to our problem.

Last week, a service tech from Angelo Chiodo A/C in Syracuse, NY, visited my house to work on a Carrier A/C unit that was not cooling sufficiently.  The tech, JIM, quickly diagnosed the problem with the outdoor unit, checking the compressor for problems (none) and added refrigerant -- the system is operating like a charm now!!  He also cleaned the outdoor coil and vacuumed the compressor compartment!!  I give Angelo Chiodo's tech group the highest marks for quick and dependable service.  I highly recommend them for any heating and cooling products as well as service!!

Furnace stopped working. They came over within 15 minutes to inspect and recommended a replacement of my 20 year old furnace due to corrosion and elevated carbon monoxide levels. Pulled crew off lesser jobs as they treated situation as an emergency due to CO levels and possibility of freezing pipes. They showed up 30 minutes later and installed new furnace in a few hours.
